In Game Improvments

As someone that has been playing this franchise for several years there are some changes to the game that can be made to make it even more interactive and get even more close to an actual baseball game.
This discussion is meant for other players to input what they would like to see in the game and suggestions that could make the game even better.
Here are just a few of the suggestions that I have.
- Arguing with the umpires on strikes and bad calls.
- Have actual rain delays during games which could lead to double headers and rescheduled games.
- Have mound visits during games that would cause the batter to start to freeze of have some kind of negative effect.
- Have a new path to The Road To Show. For example, take maybe to top 5 college teams and create your player to play games in a MCWS. During this time you would be able to build up your draft stock or lower it depending on the way you play and meeting certian challenges that are given.
- At the bottom of the screen during games have a ticker tape showing scores and information for other games that might be going on during the one that you are playing.
I want to hear from you guys about your playing experiences and any suggestions that you would think could make this game an even better experience.

Great ideas, much better than the DD causal ones talking about stub sales and how they can't hit after an update.

- This was in the game but was removed. I believe at the request of MLB.
- This sounds great but I can’t imagine the nightmare that would occur. The 4 man playoff rotation never works correctly in the postseason. They’d never get this right.
- Mound visits do boost your pitcher so perhaps it also does have the effect you describe on the batter.
- They use to have a showcase series before the draft in RTTS. It was removed for some reason. It basically did what you describe.
- The game has a score ticker already.

1- I think this was in at one point years ago, but MLB demanded it be removed.
2- this is a great idea in theory, but I can just see the screw ups that would happen(pitcher scheduled still loses stamina or something SDS-like)
3- they do give your pitcher a confidence boost if done at the right time I believe.
4- This would be a cool idea they could bring back, I enjoyed the Showcase series they used to do.
5- this is a thing already.

So I have a few suggestions as well.
- Instead of custom leagues, bring back online franchise mode.
- Within online franchise mode, make it as real as possible, by having divisions, progressive commentary like “He was 2-3 in yesterday’s game”, with stats above the score. And an actual schedule, that you can play out of order.
- Finally, although this would probably be very hard to do, have a multiplayer rtts, where numerous draft class members compete against each other and even on the same teams.
