What? They aren't updating the likeness of the over 3000 players on current MiLB, MLB, and FA rosters? Man, it's like they're trying to fix problems that affect the game instead of superficial things that only a select few players will threaten to not buy the game next year. How horrible. I hope nobody cuts their hair or grows a beard.

-We still don't have a game that looks like a next gen upgradeGameplay is improved from 2022, once you've adjusted sliders with some testing the game plays great, especially on Legend at max pitch speeds. At that speed you can really see the zip and movements of sliders and 2 seams and sinkers. If you're a casual player playing DD you might not notice this because you're playing at default pitch speeds.
As for commentary, who the heck has that on? You're playing baseball, set your audio settings to On-field, don't you want to hear the sound of baseball? The crack of the bat, ball hitting the glove, the crowd noise?
I upgraded to PS5 so the game looks decent, it's still on a console so its gonna look out dated compared to a PC, I mean we don't even have ultrawide resolutions yet on a "next gen" console.

Game play is very different and, mostly, better. Stealing isn't an automatic or impossible like it's been in years past. Hitting is smoother than years past. Most graphics are cleaner than years past.
Right now, they are making a game to be playable on 6? different platforms and playable against each other to boot. That's a tall order for a small video game developer.
I was playing Diablo 4 earlier today with a couple of friends. One has a PS4 the other a PS5. It wasn't a huge difference, but we had to wait a couple extra seconds for the PS4 character to appear whenever we entered a dungeon. In World of Warships the is a cruiser that is painted with a dragon on the side. For me, it almost looks as if the dragon is swimming with bright colors not visible on the PS4. It's a different game on different consoles and, right now, it looks like they're having to make it play for the lowest common denominator. Because of it being on the switch, I don't see it getting too much better, but everyone is in a transition period right now.
What are they trying to fix? Everything. If you don't like their product, don't buy it. To intimate that such a small thing like not changing the facial hair of the 8 hole hitter on your favorite team should be a top priority for a game in transition is dishonest. Blizzard has an army of employees to fix their issues, I'm getting updates daily. That will taper off as problems are fixed. Then the bugs for their battle pass will need to be addressed. Thankfully, for them, Diablo only puts out a new game every 5-10 years and not every year like SDS. SDS still has good sized fixes every week at the same time as putting out new content. Do I always like the content, no. I play it though.
As far as I can tell, SDS has put out only MLBTS since 2017. That means that since 2017, all employees works on only one game. Fewer projects means fewer employees. Fewer employees means fewer man hours to fix existing problems at the same time as developing new content for the current game and developing next years game.
So please tell me, how important it is to you that Noah Syndergaard get a hair cut in the game?

2K and Madden don’t have issues doing it, they make the effort

2K and Madden don’t have issues doing it, they make the effort
️You haven't played Madden recently have you? Which I'm guessing means you also didn't hear about the largest sports gaming company in the world having to be petitioned over multiple outlets and years to fix their franchise mode. Talk about not making an effort...you mention the two largest, wealthiest sports gaming companies, one of which the athletes show only a sliver of their face and both sports have fewer athletes than MLB/MiLB. What physical attributes do you see changed on a regular basis anyways? Haven't noticed it in Madden and haven't played a 2K game with regularity since MLB2K11.
