Anyone who pitches slowly with herkey jerky motion
Johnny cueto
Luis Garcia
Walker Buehler
Adam Cimber
Dontrelle willis
Satchel Paige
Yu Darvish (i would rather quit then face him)
Nestor CortesOr who pitches slower then 70
Eric Gagne
Trevor HoffmanI still rock with Yu Darvish I got him to parallel 5 and with Nolan Ryan tier 3 boost and his a monster for me. And also I agree with Eric Gagne his my most reliable bull pen pitcher with that pitch mix.
Is Luis Garcia the Astros starter that takes 30 seconds to wind up and stops in the middle? Can't stand him when I have to face him in Conquest (in 22 he was the 5th starter, so every time basically).

Gagne. Outlier 4 seam and 68mph curve.

For me personally it’s Nolan Ryan. I don’t think I strike out vs anyone else the most besides him. His fast ball is just different seems like it goes 120 in the zone and combine that with his slow [censored] circle change it’s a nightmare for me lol. I occasionally go off on him when people don’t know how to use him but against the right person his very hard to hit.
I feel like Ryan’s fastball is 10mph faster than anybody else’s despite what the gun says. It’s ridiculous…I’ve started having success by just sitting on the change up. Because everyone that uses him deploys the same meta - fastball, fastball, change up.

I’m still having anxiety attacks from facing Fernando Valenzuela in last years game. Nobody this year has been anything like that guy.
For me it wasn't anxiety, but great fun trying to hit Fernando. He usually had me totally baffled.

I almost got the Steve Nebraska treatment, if you remember that movie, someone struck me out 24 times to start the game before I managed an infield single. I didn’t strikeout 27 times though. He got a double play then struck me out 1 more time.

Ha ha!! That is amazing! I didn't see that movie but just your description is awesome.
When I am always striking out I go to the contact swing hoping for a bloop single. I still strike out though.
Last year I felt bad for 3 of my opponents who were dominating my batters when I got 9th inning hits to break up their perfect game/no hitter attempts. I swung like always and somehow got hits! If there was an in game way to message my opponent I would have apologized to them.

I’m too stubborn to use contact in a game but I’ll use it in moments. I worked in a movie theater back when I was in college. Brendan Fraser is in it so that’ll tell you the kind of movie it is. Lol. He throws a perfect game for the Yankees and strikes everyone out on 81 pitches. It’s one of the worst movies I’ve ever seen but it was free as a perk of working at the theater.

I think it's all about his delivery that makes it looks that way. Trust me I'm in the same boat. I absolutely hate facing Ryan more than anyone. I'd rather face Randy or Gibson 10 times in a row than face him once. Him and Bautista I can't touch because of their deliveries. Some guys though can absolutely crush him and it makes me very jealous.

At least you saw the movie for free. Great story though, 81 pitches!

Haha yup it's called the Scout, early Brandon Fraser

Brandon Crawford Half joking...

Apparently I can’t hit Catfish Hunter to save my life. It is just one deep fly out after another. Absolutely nothing to the gaps and right at fielders. I faced a guy this week who had him at P4 or P5 and I remember a similar situation from early in the year.

Haha that’s great. In the trailer it looks like he’s throwing from 10 feet away. I looked it up on Wikipedia. He found him while scouting in Mexico after the last kid he scouted got him in trouble. He struck out Keith Hernandez and homers off Bret Saberhagen. They signed him for $55 million dollars. In the game he struck out 27 on 81 pitches he hit 2 homers and they won 2-0. This is way too much info about this movie.
