What's the consensus on the "Catch-Up Mechanic" that SDS has implemented?
-
It's been awhile since I had to post this...
-
It's easier to be dismissive than it is to be constructive. Let's have a discussion? Or do you just need to feel superior today based off of?
-
It is easier to make stuff up than it is to accept reality!
-
It is easier to blame the game than accept your actions caused the result!
-
What the heck is he making up anyways?

I would love to be proven wrong. Please do.
It's obvious there is a catch-up mechanic in the game. It's been obvious since 2018. Do you remember the 2017 version and 2018 versions of this game?

Sounds like you're doing a fine job of that bud..
Looking at your post history.. everyone is always in the wrong. You're always in the right
Yeah this isn't going to be constructive, you just want to take your IRL frustrations out online. I'd like some constructive discussion about the catch-up mechanic in the game. If you have some proof that it doesn't exist I would love to see it.. but aside from them letting me see the code, I'm going to have to just go off the evidence that has been presented to me.

If there "obviously a catch-up mechanic", why does it never kick in when I'm behind?

Maybe because you think all of your good results are earned, no matter the contact?
I can usually acknowledge when my lazy fly ball bounces off the fielder's glove as [censored]. Do you do that?
-
Let me ask you guys this, since you all seem to be so skeptical of a "catch-up" mechanic.
How does pitcher stamina work? Like, what affect does it have on the pitches thrown and the results?
-
What a sore loser! You will never get better at this game or anything in life when all you do is blame everyone else and everything for your shortcomings! Accept responsibility, learn from your mistakes, get better, and move on!

Dude I am terrible at this game. That's why I hate that the catch-up mechanic exists. Let me win my wins.
You seem to only want to focus on me and not the actual catch-up mechanic. What's up with that? Wanna go on a date or something?

Video proof the catch-up mechanic exists...

Oh ok, this disproves everything.
Such a lazy response. Of course [censored] happens. Of course it does. I'm not here saying no body ever dropped a fly ball. Stop acting like that's my argument. It's so surface level and lazy.
-
Blaming a game and coming up with a nonsense for your poor performance is LAZY! Getting better at a video game takes some work and ability to take responsibility and learning from your mistakes. Maybe put in as much time and effort and improving your game play as you put into your posting of nonsense in this forum and maybe you will understand why your "theory" is nonsense.

It was literally your argument..

How does pitcher stamina work? What happens if you don't warm up a pitcher before you bring them in? How does pitcher confidence work?
Do you know at all?

Yes the one hypothetical instance of a fly ball being dropped by a fielder was my entire argument.
Do you honestly believe that? Or am I just talking to someone who's joining this discussion in bad faith?
You've yet to respond to what pitcher stamina does. Pitcher warm ups. Pitch confidence. These are all verifiable metrics in the game. What do they do?

I do know all of those questions. None of that relates to your nonsense of a comeback logic claim of yours...unless you don't know and allowed the comeback because you left a pitcher in too long and after giving up to many hits and runs and brought in a cold pitcher. This only makes it look like you are at fault for the comeback, which of course is has much higher probability than that of the game having comeback logic inserted into its coding.

So you accept that those are in the game? That there's a part of the code that affects the play that isn't just based on user-input?
