None of this stuff was even mentioned in any stream made by the makers of this game. Maybe the problem is your source. I also don’t agree with anything and if there is a game play difference it’s due to there not being weather which I was reminded got removed from Diamond Dynasty midway through 2022 anyways (my memory clearly blocked that out) and would only be noticeable in other modes of play.
All of this was mentioned in streams. You either didn’t watch, pay attention, or forgot.

I absolutely have noticed outfielders playing to their attributes…Especially the reaction attribute.
And singles happen all the time but people often only stack up with all power hitters. Play with high contact, low power guys and you’ll hit a ton of singles.

I think instead of making it possible for infielders to Dive at Mach 2 to snag a 110 MPH Grounder, or Fatty McGee tracking down Liners in the gap...They just made it so they're hit closer to them. I mean, how many times in an actual MLB game to you see an Outfielder standing at the wall waiting for a high flyball to drop in his lap. I'm not talking Robbing HR's or Crashing into the wall at a full Sprint making a heck of play...I mean literally sitting and waiting on a can of corn that goes the exact distance to the wall and is 5000 feet in the air... I had 6 of them in a Play Vs. CPU game last night...and hey, I get under and pop it up, no complaints...but to sit and watch it go the exact distance it needs to stay in the yard while the OF is just camping under it... It's ridiculous.

I agree with this. I have won many games playing small ball. From time to time, I like playing with fast, high contact players for this very reason.

Yea i hate that arguement of nothing bit HRs. Well, if you have nothing but homerun hitting players , what do ya expect? And isn't that kinda what this DD is? Fantasy mode ya gonna get that here. You singles and doubles, go play regs

Yes we see it, we see it every year. They release the game with all these fixes and stuff we like and been hoping for. Sales go nice. Then they slowly revert it back to the same ole game as before. Rinse and repeat. A very common practice for game developers that release yearly games.

Before release, the games was advertised thusly....
- More realistic defense (middle infielders not diving 5ft to make a clean play, get up, set and throw elite runners out by 3 steps)
- Outfielders playing to their actual abilities (Kyle "Dumpy Pants" Schwarber not being able to track a ball 300 ft to his right to catch a ball tailing away)
- Fly balls reacting to Earth's gravity in a more timely matter. Put another way, the universal laws of physics being observed
- The notion of a single.
- "Stealing is back"
Of the five, stealing is back.
The other four have not only not happened, they've reverted back to '22.
It's the Show '22.Am I the only person who sees this?
It seems that those of you in the Forums rarely mention any of this.Pretty much! I see a roughly 5-10% increase in singles and gap doubles but its hard to notice the longer I play...

Exactly! I love Steven Kwan’s swing. He hits so many singles that drop right between the infielders & outfielders. Lou Brock is the same way.

Aren't there mode set ups when you start the game? I haven't played around with them but I thought you could pick the one that is most realistic. If they don't have this maybe they should. Realistic or arcade. Side note: I bought RBI baseball back in '16? before playing it and learned what arcade was.

It seems that those of you in the Forums rarely mention any of this.I swear I thought I was losing my marbles watching pop flies into no man’s land(RF), or the Bermuda triangle(Centre, 2B and SS) just…hang, constantly. Always long enough for someone to get under them. Or those screaming liners into the gap…they just seem to stay up, or start falling slower so the OF can get to them.
And don’t even get me started on every infielder being a vacuum on ground balls while diving 10 feet. Then there’s the transfer issue…I’ve seen an infielder rob O’Neil Cruz of a sure base hit, get up, no transfer throw to first. By that I mean there was no glove to hand motion, the ball just appeared in his hand to throw.

Barehanded it! Pitcher caught it behind his back! Line drive off the pitcher's cranium becomes a fly out to the first baseman (that one was funny). Be shocked and amazed by the skills of these Major League ballplayers in the comfort of your own home!

It’s kind of interesting because in previous years it seemed like it was easy to blame the cards just getting better. But this year we’ve had stacked teams from day one and I’ve definitely noticed a difference in how the ball is moving after being hit.
More line drives hanging up too long. More “auto-outs” like 110 exit velo line drives hit directly at someone to where they don’t even have to move. Tons of hits/outs at the very top of the wall or warning track. Release week it felt like those were dropping more frequently but maybe it’s a coincidence.
