I don't want it but even with me turning everything off, it still happens. Pretty lame for people getting mercied to have a horn or whatever it is going off all the time.

Yeah we know but some of us enjoy sounds on the field like the crack of the bat. Just seems strange I can mute the announcers and the fans but cannot mute an annoyingly loud horn or my opponents childish sound bytes. Unfortunately I have now resorted to muting the [censored] TV because of this nonsense.

Yea, that's not suppose to be the way the game is played. Just saying, if you have sounds enabled for homers, strike outs, etc. and your opp does as well, then fine. I made sure mine was off and stuff going off when I hit homers and whatnot. Personally takes me out the game. Noticed it happens all the time since last patch.

I have never used custom sounds. Will it take them away from my opponent when I am the home team if I start using them?

Here's what happens to me, I been playing the Baltimore theme team and played in Baltimore several games and the dam horn goes off every homer I hit. By default the stadium sounds are off or even better, none are assigned. But as mentioned, the horn goes off every homer and if I get struck out even at home there's some goofy sound going off. Just complaining cause it adds work to editing my little videos.
