Mauer or Comet?

I know I know, it’s up to me…depends on my roster.
I just pulled Mauer out of a 50pk and wondering if I should sell for Cosmic Comet. I’m mostly offline (95/5) and a Yankee fan but wondering stat wise and also wild card-wise, if I should sell. Thanks in advance. -
Mauer has a significantly better swing.

Really? I love Mickey Mantle and his defense is A1. Maurer looks good as well but I don’t think his more valuable than Mickey plus Mickey is a switch hitter

Lots of good OF cards while not very many high end Cs IMO. I pulled Mantle from a free equipment collection pack and sold RedTurn2 and a few Core cards to buy Mauer.

Thanks in advance.Mantle is the better card of the two…However there are no other elite Season 2 catchers right now & there are always plenty of outfielders. But in all honesty - Since you’re an offline player it really doesn’t matter. You’ll be fine with either player.

I also love Mickey and agree his defense excellent. Unfortunately those two things do not affect his terrible swing. If you’re good with it, more power to ya.

that Mauer card is juiced out of its mind and catchers are few and far between so I would keep Mauer. I love Mantle too but there is always 7-9 outfielders I could plug in at any given time and get the same production

Thanks folks for all the input. I guess I’ll keep him and find a way to buy Mantle. I’m not much of a market mogul so I’ll have to figure something out but I’ll get it done.
