WBC Market prices

Is there a reason the prices of these cards jumped today? I usually flip these lower Set 1 cards online while at work but all the 10-11k cards are now at 15k+.

Yesterday I bought and locked in Pasquantino, O'Neill, Gregorious, Valencia, Yoshida, and Hernandez to get the final Set 1 pack. Looks like the Buy Now prices have already doubled in price. I could have made a decent chunk of change if I held them just a little bit longer.
Oh well...

Yah, I have a bunch of Set 1 cards not locked in yet. Debating whether to sell them or use them towards the Set 1 collection rewards.

SDS really trying to inflate the market. Even the preorder packs have not been released in any programs or rewards. At least previous years by now you could earn a couple.

This will be interesting to see how it works out, once season 3 happens one would think the market for set 1 stuff should crash.
Does SDS then flood the market with this cards and packs as rewards?
