I'm 2/2 on first attempts. East was nerve-wracking cause I drafted left heavy for Strasburg and majority of pitchers leading up to him are lefties. Helsley is tough in the central with his differentials, but he's a reliever so it's easy to gas him. Play small ball. Bunt, Steal. Homeruns are great but when you live or die by them, you're gonna have a bad time.
-
Just be patient. Don't swing at everything, work the count and wait for your pitch.
-
West was the only one I struggled with. I personally hated all the player choices as I couldn't hit with them for some reason.
-
Don’t do them. Do MTO instead. It’s a lot less frustrating and you get more points.
-
They were pretty easy. Mostly faced right handers so I loaded up. There was one lefty next to final rounds with only 8 outs that I chose to skip.

I find keeping speed on your bench & bunting players to 2nd are the keys to winning these. If you don’t do this then the extremely high rate of double plays in this game will haunt you.

Grounding into double plays is like death and taxes...they are inevitable.

They didn't seem any tougher to me. I did fail on the East one the first time through and beat it the second time but otherwise beat the others first try.

It’s those [censored] double plays

I would much rather grind mini-seasons for vouchers AND repeatable team pxp. Showdowns are a complete waste of time for me.
