I know last year you could click R2 to bring up the card of the current batter you were facing and if I'm not mistaken; that wasn't an option at the beginning of the year.

Now I noticed that it will bring up the card of the batter you're facing.

Was it like this all year or did they recently change it back?

I'm not going crazy thinking you couldn't do this at re beginning of the game's cycle?

They changed it today, why is this worth a post?

I didn't know they changed it and wanted to ask about it.

I'm really glad they changed it back like it was last year. I really missed card art and mainly the stats of each card by pressing R2 button 👍

    Ok. What's going on?

Played an Event game and when I clicked on R2, while pitching so I could see which version of a card my opponent was using, it only showed my pitch selection. Just like it did at the beginning of the year.

But the other day, when I hit R2, it showed the player card. Granted that was an offline game.

So you can only view the player card, by hitting R2 while pitching, if it's an offline game?

    Or am I missing something?

I'm pretty sure that all year it has been right on the d pad for me to pull up the card.

That's true but it would only show the card art. Now when you press R2 you can see stats as well.

Yeah. I think it's just a random thing. I tried again last night during another Event game and it pulled up the player card.
