What a waste of time

Got in tonight only needing 10pts to finish the Kaiju Program.
Since I had all the single player missions completed that meant either playing Conquest or Play vs CPU with a team full of Kaiju players and getting 1,000 PXP (2,500 x 4) to get the final 10pts or to play the Showdown. Didn't want to go the Event because I would still need to get at least 5,000 PXP (2,500 x 2) even after getting my 5 wins. (I know I could get PXP playing the Event; but you would need to have a really good game to get a considerable amount of PXP and 8/10 people quit on you when you take the lead, or even dashboard on a homerun, so I don't want to play the Event).
Well, anyway I enter my first Showdown draft and even though I draft a team full of lefties (Strasbourg is the final boss) I manage to make it all the way to him without losing a single mini boss mission.
I then go in and procede to load the base and hit what should've been a grand slam with Kaiju Brett. Nope, game f'n crashes.
Waste of a perfect run. 45 mins down the drain
Then I proceeded to enter 6 more drafts and now I can't get past Gossage even though my team is stacked with lefties again.
Every single ball that was hit, in each of the 6 entries, died at the warning track. I didn't get one hit out of those 6 attempts.
Not one hit!
So now I've wasted about 90mins and have NOTHING to show for it.
So, I guess I have to try my luck at the Event and hope I can get 5 wins and at least 5,000 PXP to finish the program.
Kicker is I don't even feel like playing anymore right now. That really took the wind out of me.
While I like how they're releasing content this year; it seems like to much at once. Heck, I haven't even touched any of my main team players in weeks because I'm trying to complete programs. And since they're mostly Set 1 players; they'll be 'obsolete' in a little under 2 months.
I know I don't have to complete every program and I don't have to complete them ASAP. But even if I want to work on TA2, I still can't use any of my Set 1 players.
I don't know. Maybe I need to take a few days off.

You can use Set 1 players for TA2.

You can use Set 1 players for TA2.
Oh, I didn't know. But even so; I would still have to use mission players. I mean I'll still get them done. Just venting. Bad day personally and I'm trying not to let it affect my gaming; but I think that's a lost cause.

Showdown is full of [censored]! I've been trying to complete Mexico City, Charisma and Kaiju series. It took over 100 showdowns and didn't beat them. Usually in middle of showdown and lost game. I am tired of this. Set all showdowns to rookie level. Everyone can finish it off easy way.
