You have 10 months left to complete it. It's not going anywhere. There are plenty of usable 97-99 OVR cards. There's 0 reason to spend money on cards, especially for a set.

My advice is save your money. Live Series collection is really not worth it this year when they are pumping 99s out left and right that are comparable ratings wise and dirt cheap. You’ll be able to complete the collection easily in a month or two just by saving whatever you pull.

Save your money, Sosa and McGwire have bad swings, Jeter is good but not 600 dollars good.

I never judge what another person does with their money as long as it’s not hurting anyone. If $600 is pocket change to you, go for it. But otherwise, don’t, like ever. Even if they were the greatest cards in the world. $600 is what you spend on a once in e lifetime VIP festival ticket. Not fake cards.

The only player that is worth it is sammy and jeter and you can easily find replacements.

It’s 100% dependent on your personal preferences. Being a Yankees fan, Jeter was a MUST HAVE and will be my starting SS all year nomatter what other 99 overall SS cards get released. But if you aren’t a Jeter guy then save your stubs, There are plenty of other serviceable SS out there that can be had for free. It’s entirely up to you.

I always like to complete the live series. $0 money spent and I only need deGrom, Ohtani and Judge to finish. just put my buy order in for Diaz to finish NL but to each their own. do some flipping and sell any repeat diamonds you get and you'll get there, just not as fast. Stoked to get Sosa!

No. From someone who usually spend upwards of 2k every year, it's never worth it. Especially this year.

I spent $0 and completed it so no it's not worth it. Just play the game and let the packs fill it in

92 McGwire is better for me. The 99 McGwire is just huge and has a way too big strike zone

No lol. Very easy to get free. And even then don't think it's worth it. I been done for almost 3 weeks without buying anything. And Jeter and Sosa are the only 2 card I care about, and even they are easily replaceable.

I agree with you, but disagree on Sosa. Love his swing. He is a beast on inside pitches.

That's a bad statement to even consider making. Two of the most sought at players ever and their cards, that are supposed to be end game, can be easily replaced and we're not even 3 months in.

    Sad. So sad.

Yeah, just how they are doing things this year. Having Chipper and Babe already are pretty sweet though. And Jeter, Sosa and McGwire are all core cards, so they are available all year.

I think you should hold off until the All Star break and recalculate how much you need.

I buy the deluxe version and I usually get a 50$ PSN card as a gift at the same time. Outside of that, I don't spend any other $. I spend the first few weeks just working the market and building a bank. Usually after a month, I have enough stubs accumulated to complete the LS or at least be dang near close to it.

IMO, this year's completion rewards were not worth it. I like Jeter and Sosa but McGwire leaves a great deal to be desired for me.

My advice, keep your cash as their are plenty of comparable and better cards available that won't cost much if anything.

Honestly, I would say no. That’s a lot of cash for 3 cards.
