So you guys promoted this game as “more rewArds” “more for good inputs” etc etc
My question is- why when the community praised the game was it decided to be changed back to the mundane version of last years game? Serious question? Just wanted to know what prompted that change? Telemetry? Stats?
Curious if you guys play your game ever? Because it’s really bad right now.

I have wondered the same thing.
I do believe a lot of them have played the game. Remember they did a stream on release day where they played Head to head BR. So they definitely played the same version of the game we got release week.
The fact that they played it (especially the top guys at SDS) makes the changes that much more perplexing.

Yep. It would never happen but I think it would be cool if the community organized a week or two where no one logged on until they update hitting (or at least roll it back to launch week). I’d be fine playing offline or playing another game until 1.04 and 1.05 hitting patches get rolled back.
In other industries, things like that are fairly commonplace when the consensus opinion of something is so low. I’m a hypocrite though because here I am playing event games hahaha.

90% of players were still on veteran difficulty, of course batting averages were higher. They could have at least waited until one person made it to WS before jumping over the edge with massive changes to the game.
But hey, that's just my two cents.
