I know that after a trade or bringing someone up, we can adjust our batting orders, but is there any other way to get to them so they can be changed? (Not before a game because that is only temporary).

You can do it in lineups before going into a game and it will change after the available game has been played.

I just waited until the screen came up after I developed a prospect.

This isn't the best option because the game usually starts in the 6th or 7th inning. If I want to change who my DH is for that game, my pitcher must hit.

There needs to be a menu option to change the lineup so that it can be changed depending on the team we are playing before the game starts (versus when the user is thrown into the game).

    Found it.

Under the box where you enter the game is the standings. Press the :L or R arrow and the menu comes up.
