For my rent yesterday and today about the BR rewards in the BR Program pack being non-sellable.
No excuse but I had a bad day yesterday and I let it consume me.
While I am still not that happy about the card being non-sellable; I do understand why it was implemented.
Does it suck that I can't sell the card to get stubs to use towards completing the LS Collection? Yes. But is it worth griping about considering years ago you couldn't even obtain a Flawless card unless you went 12-0 or bought it.
Will it stop me from playing BR? I doubt it and as others stated; it's not the only pack I can earn while playing the program.
Will I recoup my cost in entry fees? Who knows. But I'll at least get 12 Core cards that I can use towards that collection and I'll get at least 1 card that I can use towards Wright, Aaron, and Randy.
So, again, I apologize for the rant and to anyone that I argued with and/or was rude to them.

Dude it’s all good. Most of us on here have legitimate healthy debates and opinions to offer. The ones who take it too seriously, you just ignore.
-
Eventually youll get better and you wont have to worry about it, this game is extremely frustrating and competitive.
-
I think this can be used as a case study to give your self a few days to consider the changes.
Any change is jarring and this year's game is proof as it's been nothing but changes.
-
Do you understand why it was implemented mid$year though? It was only implemented because top 1% streamers cried about it. This wasn’t a pre-launch studio decision. It wasn’t based on pricing evidence from past years (last year first season Br/ranked cards were dirt cheap too), as we still got wait lists by the end of the year. It was entirely to appease very loud whiney streamers.
-
-There's an old saying in Tennessee—I know it's in Texas, probably in Tennessee—that says, 'Fool me once, shame on...shame on you. Fool me—you can't get fooled again.
-
Who are you apologizing to? The virgin streamer who cried about it for hours to make them change it or the dudes who sit in his chat and probably call him dad like that’s a normal thing.
It was an awful decision. Matter of fact if I wanted them to sabotage their game I would have told them to change all those rewards to no sell and give out the awful reward cards, stubs and packs that they are.
-
Whoever thinks SDS changed the format a please 4-5 people online streamers, do you honestly believe that? That sounds idiotic to me. Out of the multiple thousands of people playing, they changed it for a few select people??
I’m not trying to stir the pot, just legitimately curious

Not entirely because of streamers but they sure were one of the big reasons why. They are basically free marketing for the game so if their voices carry much more weight for good and bad.

The dude who whines about it for hours said he sent his thoughts directly to the streamer they hired this year so apparently he has his ear.
They will learn tho. The dudes who make WS and go 12-0 are their core. Those guys ain’t going nowhere. The dudes who flip for hours are their core. They ain’t going nowhere. The casuals who log in and grind for stubs and packs for more stubs are the one who are more likely to turn the game off and not come back. In the span of a week or they dropped 50-60+ hours of content that nets you a couple good cards, tons of B-C tier 97s, D tier 94s, maybe 300k in stubs if you get lucky and took away sellable cards for their online programs from them. They’re going to find out soon what happens when you do that lol. They’ll be begging for players by June and just better hope it ain’t too late.

I highly doubt “they’ll be begging for players by June.” Sure, a few will stop playing the game entirely because of this, and several more will stop playing online, but they have enough players that I doubt it will even faze them.

It’s a very repetitive game as it is so I think you’d be surprised. They got rid of TA last year because people only logged in to do those. Then they brought it back this year for an obvious reason. Now the TA rewards are an absolute joke and they are gutting every way to make stubs except flipping and buying them. We will see. Will be fun to watch. I’d like to see some people fired. That would be funny.

Yep the classic I hope someone loses their ability to pay their bills and feed their family because I don't like something they did post.
The moment you make that kind of comment any argument you have is devalued.
It's cool not to like something but hoping someone loses their job is about as low brow as it gets.

Yea I never claimed to be that nice of a guy. And I have almost no respect for ultimate team employees. Maybe they will find something they are good at and thrive. Why do you think when they lose this job they won’t be able to feed their family? Plenty of jobs out there. I’m sure they’ll fill a quota somewhere else.

BR cost stubs, which makes SDS chumps for making cards non-sellable. Streamers and the goons make up less than 3 percent of this community . But yet they cry and whine when the game doesn’t go their way or in this case rewards are sellable. If SDS wants to cater to them, give them the weekend league with rewards only they can obtain

What a crass, stupid thing to say.
Perhaps you should exercise some consumer restraint instead of wishing terrible things to happen to people because you don't like what they did to your video game?
You know -- since we all KNOW it's a card collecting mode, and that those modes are designed to make money all cycle long...be a big boy and either not play/not buy or just take it for what it is and not give them another cent? But you do the easy, despicable thing -- whine on a forum and write things anonymously you would never say to a person standing in front of you.
Well done.
