Lost connection to opponent

Since launch I’ve had the issue of losing connection to my opponents and being slapped with a loss. In fact, I’m 23-25 in DD, with at least 15 of those losses being due to disconnection.
This is very deflating, as I’m a CS-fringe WS player who can’t break All Star. Based on my reading of other threads, it seems like a “me/my internet problem”.
I am hardwired to my router. I play while watching cable TV provided by the same ISP (Xfinity) and no issues there. No issues with any other online game. No issues with old editions of The Show. I’m running a Google DNS.
So…what else should I try? Any suggestions? I’m losing my will to play the game I love the most.

At least 15 losses due to disconnection? But, ya got through 23 wins just fine? Dunno. But on here you'll hear opinions ranging from get gud to get a better TV/monitor to just all sorts of nonsense.
Just the baggage this game has always carried is the most likely cause and the only way to fix that is keep that $69 in your pocket next year or invest in a different distraction. 23 has more warts than a Bourbon Street hooker with chronic HPV.
