Andre Dawson's number is wrong

Andre Dawson's Nationals Live Series Captain card jersey number is wrong and should be fixed. It shouldn't #8. Dawson wore #10 when playing with the Montreal Expos. He wore #8 with the Chicago Cubs and the Florida Marlins.

In the past, SDS has just used the number of the card that was the highest rated for the year. The other year, when they made the best Griffey Jr card a Reds card, his number was 30 all year even though the Mariners cards came first and he wore 24 with the M's. So, I'm pretty sure SDS will not be making this change.

Thanks for the info. Honestly, I don't remember this issue with Griffey. I seem to recall Nolan Ryan having #30 with his Mets rookie card and later on, having #34 with his Rangers card though (I could be wrong). I do remember having to play a challenge as Griffey with the Mariners but the only card out at that time was the Reds one so he was wearing #30 during the challenge, which was annoying (especially since challenges are meant to recreate historical moments!).
Ideally, I just wish we had the possibility of customizing our team's jersey numbers. It would solve all problems and make everyone happy.

Dap..very good point. Andre Dawson won a single MVP..playing for a last-place Cubs team and wearing #8. Did go into the HoF as an Expo, but not his choice. He made a public statement following his induction “I’m disappointed. I can proudly say that, because Chicago was my preference.”
I don't recall, in MLB the Show, ever seeing Dawson as an Expo. I do remember him seeing his card as a Cubs player at least a couple times and wearing #8.
However it only makes sense, if you put a player in a certain uniform of their career..to use the # they wore on that uniform. I don't know if SDS is consistent with whatever formula they use. Not really sure they have a formula or always a lot of deep down research/knowledge into MLB history.

Dawson's card last year with the Expos (Nationals) had him wear #10. I also checked with Nolan Ryan's cards and last year, His Mets card had the jersey #30 but his Astros card, he wore #34 so this is clearly a mistake on their part and not because a Dawson's Cubs card that could be on the way.
