No Phillies S2 hitting captain?

I see there is a pitching captain but I didn't see a hitting one. Obviously I can use JT S1 but can I use him with S2 cards,?

Yes, JT is a Phillies Team Captain for all Phillies. They switched up team captains for S2 - so all teams who had a hitting captain in S1 now have a pitching captain in S2 and vice versa.

As SDS mentioned, each season it flips between the two. So last season the Phils had JT, so they went with a pitcher this time and next season it will be a different hitter. Since each season allows for two sets of cards, now you will have a captain for hitting and pitching, so yes, JT will boost S2 Phil hitters along with S1 and core Phil hitters and Robin Roberts will boost Phil pitchers from both sets and core.

There should be one of each? Oh wait; maybe not because they duo (hitting and pitching) were split between TA and LS Team Collection rewards.

The bad thing about the LS captains is that they only boost half the LS cards and there is only one of them. Where, now with both the TA seasons captains, each team has a boost on each side of the ball. LS theme teams were really only going to be good for the beginning of S1 anyways.
