Is SDS ever going to do something about toxic play?

So what’s the deal with all these people selecting rain and being awarded host with horrible internet? This happens way to often and makes an already bad experience even worse.
The online play might be the worst of any online sports title as far as gameplay goes. Between the skipping frames, bunt dancing, and offensive names it’s real a cesspool of humanity when you hop online.
I don’t see this as often in any other sports titles where the toxicity is almost encouraged. For those asking I have 900mbps and 120mps up.
It would seem like a real easy fix to not allow rain in an already unstable online game and the bunt dancing junk should be easy enough to penalize.

I think “cesspool of humanity” is a bit strong? I honestly don’t find online play toxic. Madden is MUCH worse.
You certainly are entitled to not like it, but I think your take on is a bit over the top. Bunt dancing is stupid, but it doesn’t ruin gameplay. It just means you are playing an idiot.

Lol the last guy I just played was Georgefloyed he had all sorts of redneck [censored] and to be fair I see a lot more PlayStation players exhibiting this type of behavior. It’s an easy fix to why does it persist?

SDS can’t be responsible for humanity. I think that’s who your problem is with, on on that we don’t disagree. People suck.

Ya but there’s a report feature that clearly isn’t being utilized so what’s the point of having it? Regardless without dealing with the character of certain players why are weather effects available in online play?
It’s not even debatable the online play is mediocre at best the way the game handles so why allow another factor that will make the game play worse? That is on SDS not on me being a whiner.
I’m not gonna lie outside of content this is the worst version of the show I’ve played so overall I’m just not happy with the product.
The game is barely in the top 20 of games on Xbox which is a massive decline compared to the same time last year. Honestly think of my rant as you will but this game will be a ghost town by the All Star break and everyone here will be complaining they can’t find matches.

I love people that bunt dance. They can almost never hit and I wonder if they would hit better if they focused on hitting and not spamming that button.

I agree with you on that one. I wonder why they have it where we can play a full 9 inning game in a thunderstorm. Besides the lag it causes it’s just not realistic. The custom stadiums are silly a lot of the time.

How is it SDS fault your matching up with what you call toxic players? Every online game will have the type of players your upset about. They can't police the amount of traffic in this game. I'm a fisherman and I try to catch fish every time I go out... I've never caught all the fish. My advice is to toughen up a little bit and just try to not let it get you flustered or just quit playing online games if it upsets you. I've been playing online games since online games began, and never once has a toxic player upset me... just smirk and ignore it, play your game and move on. Don't be so soft.

Relax ya Masshole…I’m just a Yankee fan busting a Red Sox fan’s balls…That’s not toxic, That’s appropriate rivalry behavior is all.
Anyways…If a team name, uniform or whatever is offensive - Take a screen shot & then file a report through The Show app or The Show’s website & include the picture and describe why it offends you. I’ve done this several times and SDS does act on it & the player gets a 2 week ban usually…Reporting them on screen, Or to Xbox or posting on this forum does nothing…But if you take the time to do what I just explained, Then they will get suspended.
