If this was a flash sale how did trout go up in price?
Because people buy packs and get more stubs and with those stubs they buy trout, trout being so rare there isn't many of him so supply and demand his price goes up
-
The drop in live Diamond was steep for some of the lower tier LS Diamonds, but time was short. I picked up Morton for 8k and Matt Chapman for around 15k right after the sale started, but their prices (along with the rest) rebounded quickly.....

I understand that part of the market but cmon all these people bought the live series flash sale packs and no one pulled him like that?

trout is no more rare than any other diamond. people just tend not to sell him. drives demand higher, price higher.

Lol no this is false, the flash sale packs even have the odds posted on them. It’s drastically different for a 90+ Rated diamond LS.
You also can’t earn 90+ diamonds from any sort of event Reward. He’s very obviously the rarest LS diamond. The 85s are quite obviously the least rare.

Trout is THE barrier to Mantle, unless they release a pack with a 1:50 chance of pulling Trout himself, he isnt' going down any time soon
-
It definitely doesnt drop prices. Last week when they did this I was at work, and heard some diamonds were dropping, got home a few hours after flash sale and prices had jumped big time. And all last weekend prices went up.
-
even if they pulled 1000 of him, no one would tank his price, they'd wait it out to get top stubs. and that will hold true until there are cards to challenge him.

Wait until you see his price when the first stub sale drops, will make it look like he's been going for free this past month.

yea, he will be about 350,000 the first stub sale, I would suggest using the stub sale to stack stubs, wait a week, they will probably drop some headliner packs with a big name in it or there will be another flash sale and you may see his price drop slightly but I doubt he drops below 200,000 before October.
-
He’s an anomaly to the flash sale. Everyone is selling their other cards in attempt to get Trout. His price won’t go down.

yeah you're right. i stand corrected. 90+ cards are indeed harder to come by.
