April Monthly Award Captains

This in my opinion definitively answers the questions about whether the awards cards will be Set 1 or Core. Seems they will be Set 1.
It also raises a question of how many players we will be getting? Will there be enough diversity in the positions to justify a captain? Will there be enough pitchers to justify a pitching captain?
Maybe if these are the first items that we earn in the program they will at least be a little useful for the inevitable PXP grinding that will have to be done.

I’m expecting a couple more Retro POTM cards ala Topps Now which would make captains worthwhile.

I’m excited for this program. The only thing I’m wishing is that these cards were sellable but it appears they won’t be based on the first announced pack of 95s.

EVENTS appears to be where the RETRO/FLASHBACK POTM cards will be rewards for.

Only good thing about these cards is I can use them towards the big set 1 collection

I've liked Mark Prior cards in the past, but they never get a ton of use. I won't mind using that card for a few days.
