I said screw the flash sale, and bought as many as I could of Brian Roberts, Adam Dunn, and Tom Seaver.
Couple Brooks Robinson as well.
Remember, the richest men during the gold rush weren’t digging for gold, but were selling shovels for others to dig for gold.
Ok tell me why u invest in these cards please.

Last year, the early inning program golds became super expensive once Honus was released. No reason to think they won’t be the same way again this year.
And Robinson is an event reward, so once the event is over he won’t be obtainable ever again. After a while, his price will skyrocket.

The LS diamond prices are still fairly high so I justified buying the LS pack and pulled Gerrit Cole.

You wouldn’t be saying that if you pulled kershaw lmao

I'd still be able to justify why I bought the pack, I just wouldn't be happy with my decision.

I get that Robinson won't be attainable but is he going to be needed for a collection? if not, I can't see why anybody would want to buy that card, he doesn't really look that appealing to me. But if you are right and he is needed for a collection you will certainly be a genius, I wont be paying your exorbitant price though lol

Very true, I didn’t hit on mine per se, but I did get Trevor Story which was one of the cards I have left to complete live series collection. Still have the biggies to go. Trout, Cole, Belli, Arenado, Scherzer and Strasburg who I have a buy order in for.

I’m no money spent, but my daughter bought me two $50 psn cards, so I might just add funds to psn and if I haven’t flipped enough to finish by the first stub sale, I’ll pick some up and bank them until prices drop down to reasonable again.

He’ll be useable for the Honus collection whenever it shows up, plus he’ll have value for the sole reason of him being rare. Doesn’t matter if he’s good or not lol, just look at that gold Carlos Martinez from last year.

Oh uhh, actually just disregard everything I said. You totally definitely absolutely should not buy any brooks Robinson cards for cheap and sell for a profit later. Nope, sounds like a bad idea to me. I wouldn’t do it, that’s for sure.
