Franchise save won’t load

Happened to me just now as well. Was working fine the last few weeks and loaded it up today and it’s not loading. Just keeps refreshing to the home page. I tried disconnecting from the server and still nothing. Very frustrating that I just wasted hours and hours grinding out a whole season to have to potentially lose it like this.

Still nothing? I have had the same issue. Try and load previous saved franchise and it just takes me back to the main menu page

I’m assuming no one at SDS gives a [censored] since it’s franchise mode. Honestly it’s sad because I just dropped over $100 on the game. 🫡

Same issue for me If you guys are on the app go to the bottom right tab that says “23” click it and scroll down to where it says “report a bug” and then follow the prompt if we get enough people reporting a bug they might fix it

Same issue on saved franchise won’t load. I reported a bug to SDS last week, nothing back so far.

Almost a month and no fix?¿?¿ I went through alot of trouble to trade for shohei... Now I have to double save.

I got an email back from sds after sending a bug report on 4/22/23. They said they,ve passed it on to the team for investigation, hopefully there’s progress. Anyone else file a bug report and gotten a response or resolve?

I don’t play franchise much but this happened to my RTTS save.

This just happened to me a few days ago. So I started a new one to see if when I saved it, could at least try the other. Guess what happened? My old franchise save disappeared. Went to Reddit and found this is happening to ALOT of people (my son included) and SDS has done nothing about it. Most common advice is to double save your franchise. By all accounts when this happens your franchise is GONE.

[censored] this is horrible. the only reasonI I bought a nintendo switch was to play MLB The Show 23 in franchise mode. Im not a big video game guy but im a huge baseball fan. bought the switch for $300 then the "legends edition" ( which I shouldnt have because its the same on switch, im just a jeter fan) and right before the all star break in my first season all of a sudden it gives me an error message when I try to load an "in game save." Started a new franchise and it is happening again. Contacted nintendo support (did all the obvious troubleshooting) and they said I need to contact the game publisher which is MLB Advanced Media. Whats going on? How is this possible?

The 4th update did the trick for me and my saved file is back and accessible!
