Wind in leagues

Why is the wind turned off in leagues? why cant we get the same broadcast as we would in offline mode? i am in a league and we want the wind turned back on and during the season in the leagues we want standings by division league leaders, ticker just like you would during a real life broadcast? also why in leagues why does the lines repeat? talk about the previous nights game and the series?
