So essentially no difference.

Think I'll just up my internet service.
I have a wired connection, but it's been really glitchy and jumpy.

Pass...Frame rates are way better on PS5. Especially if you have a 120hz panel, rather it be 2160p or 1080p. Will result in far smoother gameplay. Load times can be a turn off actually because you dont see opponents lineup on the load screen. But you definitely dont have to worry about which stadium your opponent chooses. Graphics wise, I will say current gen hasnt quite far passed last gen yet. But speed has.

Also to add, newer system isnt gonna help much with internet connection online. Especially for opponent.

Your comment has zero validity.Well, we have already seen a handful of titles this year release only on the 5, so the 4 is pretty much done, if not for COVID and the supply problem caused by it this probably would have happened already instead of just starting to.

I upgraded to the 5 this year and I got a new monitor. I feel like I see the ball much better this year. Idk if that’s cuz of the upgrades I made or cuz the game is better.

Pass...Made the switch (red line of death) about 3 weeks ago; still playing 22 (based on reviews, not missing much) and here is what I saw:
- No dropped frames or lag in problem stadiums offline (Kauffman, FoD) or online (MLB stadiums);
- Load times way faster, used to get up and grab a coffee from the pot when booting a game (not the game, a game vs CPU, online, Moments etc), ow not so much;
- Higher res/smoothness/features like stadium creation.
I heard here that the drop/lag is noticeably worse in 23 than 22, another aspect that made me wait. Cons: the controllers are cheap, and I accidentally hit the R1/L1 from time to time when using R2/L2

Like did you actually think a video game that is made for next gen consoles would play as good on a ps4 as it does on a ps5?

It plays light years better on a ps5. And this will probably be the last year it’s on a ps4(hopefully) so idk why you’re trying to salvage your ps4
Oh and playing online against someone with a ps4 while being on a ps5 is brutal. If you’re a gamer you need to update your consoles
PS4’s are pretty much irrelevant at this point. It’s much more next-gen focused now a days.

This is a silly thread. There is no comparison at all, the PS5 is so much better in EVERY aspect of the game and gaming in general. Upgrading your internet will not fix your problem, you need to upgrade your hardware.
On the same internet in my home, a game that took 12 hours to download on the ps4 now takes 1 hour. That's a hardware upgrade, and it's the reason your experience is pretty terrible on the outdated PS4.

I switched from PS4 to 5 and I can confirm it was 100% worth it. Much smoother, faster, no lag at MLB stadiums etc.
You can grind PxP missions 3x faster at created stadiums, missions on post game page actually track...
