LMK if you think this is a crazy take:

I think BR may be the best mode in the game. You use a variety of cards- gold/silver/bronze/diamond and common. It seems to play a little truer to real life vs the other DD modes. I’ve also noticed more hit variety in br. Maybe it’s because of the varying attributes of all the different quality of cards? The rewards are great also.

Not a crazy take at all

I was never a fan in the past. I went 12-0 a handful of times in 19 towards the end of that life cycle, but it was stressful and I wasn't having much fun. I stopped playing BR until they introduced the BR program. Once they did that, I started splitting my time between events and BR. It's definitely a fun mode to play, and I don't really think that's much of a hot take.

I love BR. Has been my main mode the past three years. Season one this year I didn’t enjoy it as much, but season two I was back to normal and loved it the entire time.

12-0 is solid! Takes a ton of skill and also some luck. The br program imo is better than any other program at this time.

I think some players get scared away from playing it cause you will run into a goon from time to time.

Oh, absolutely! But anything can happen. Just gotta play it out

I like it, but I don't play it much after I finish the BR Program, I feel like I'm wasting time in both not earning stuff, and not paralleling the players I like, so mostly if I want to play 3 innings, I'll head to the event

It’s a super cool game mode. Fun to build a team and try out new players. I always get my d$&k kicked in once I get to like 5 or 6 wins, but it’s fun for sure. I like busting it out when it’s getting late and I don’t have time to play a full ranked game.
-
Super fun. Games don’t last long so if it’s not a close match up you move on right away which is great. And if it’s a close game it usually comes down to one really intense moment that can go either way. It’s just the strategy that is missing.
Honestly hot take but I think online plays amazing this year. The fouls are a bit much still, but I have played a lot of fun really close games that feel like it’s actually us accounting for the outcome and not just watching a sim. Funnest year of online play for me

My favorite mode by far, especially since they went to a "program" set up.

Not a fan of 3 inn, if it were a 6 or 9 inn yes

It is undoubtedly one of the more popular modes. Personally, I despise it. I prefer ranked because of the ability to use any card in your inventory.
-
Based on how much the cards cost I’m gonna say not a big player base there.
-
I stayed away from it forever until last year. Now I enjoy it. Have gone 11-0 6x then always run into a goon ( Scann, Samuel Adam’s, and owns we don’t know )….one of these days I will get that flawless banner.
-
I got really in to it starting last year when they introduced the program. I'll never go 12-0, but can pretty easily grind through the program and have a blast doing it. Not a crazy take at all!!

What’s your draft strategy? I usually go with bronze sp, some gold relievers and after I finish the program I’ll only try and draft players that I hit well with regardless of their shield color. For some reason I can’t hit with Sosa and draft him every time hahahah…

the hit variety is different because,
- Pitcher energy is cut in half
- All Star diff
- Bronze/common/silver pitchers vs better hitters
- There is no rank system,

I always prioritize hitting while trying to make sure I have defense up the middle ( nothing worse than a bronze fielding SS or center fielder).
For pitching, I never go Diamond but want to make sure I have a couple decent starters and good delivers from both sides.

Player after player says they LOVE BR...but no one thinks a Capped mode would be interesting or popular??
LOL!
It's literally the same thing, just without a Draft and an actual 9 inning game.
Not everyone wants to play the Ranked Seasons version of "baseball" with perfect players at every position.
