Do anybody fondly remember training points from the pre-MLB 18 days? I’m starting to miss building your player to whatever you want to be and not limited to archetypes. Although, the downside of training points is if you were on the bench and your position is manned by an all star player, unless he get traded or injured, you’re f$&@ed. Nevertheless, I can understand they were trying for realism when archetypes were introduced, but being limited by them is not very appealing when with training points you can be the next Mike Trout. Say what you want, but as a player since MLB 14 (where I started playing RTTS and brought me back into baseball), I miss those days.

RTTS went through lots of changes. You could feed cards to your player at one point. You could buy training points for them at one point with stubs.

I remember that you can buy training points. And yes, RTTS changed a lot.
