Charisma showdown.

I can’t beat it. I’ve tried multiple times, and it’s the only way to complete the charisma program.
My games are full if P/P right at people or robbed home runs.
-
Speed and drag bunt works wonders for me. Haven't failed a showdown since using speed over power last year.
-
I don't think I have ever failed a showdown on the 1st try until the Charisma one. I would get to around 10 runs and then lose the last challenge before the final boss. It took me about four tries to complete this one. Perfect/perfect outs and just generally pretty tough.

I'm at about 400 tries, it's terrific fun. You missed out by completing it so quickly.

Same here. The score is currently 10-15 and now I have to face Andrew Chafin (down 1 with 8 outs) to get to the Final Boss (Castillo). I’m almost tempted to skip Chafin and face Castillo down by 5 runs, lol. For those of you who have conquered this showdown, is Castillo that tough to beat?

Castillo was easy. If you are at 10 runs, just skip the last challenge.

I also have a problem with showdown.
I don't have time to play mlb 24/7.
What i mean is i'm not that good playing showdowns for example.
I'm facing Dustin May with 15 outs left 2 runs down and all 99 players, I got 5 pop ups,1 robbed hr,4 superman catches and 5 perfect perfect catches on the warning track.
And that's only one example.
So SDS please make it so that the showdons in a program are not a must to finish that program. -
Finished all the TA ones in the first 2 tries, this one took me at least a dozen tries. I failed on Chafin quite a few times and Castillo once before I finally finished it. Odd thing is the time I finished I didn't even get close to my last out on any of the rounds.

I've just tried this method (several times) this morning and it's no better for me than playing traditional swing-away ball. The draft even stopped offering me the bunt perks after my first two attempts so I had to try the bunt method without those perks. One of my attempts I had Ozzie Smith and he couldn't get a bunt down. Not sure what I'm going to try now but I've drafted just about every different player and perk possible at one time or another and it all results in usually not making it past the 6-out moment.

Ricky Henderson, Ozzie Smith, Oneil Cruz, Bobby Witt Jr...Highly recommend going after these guys. Don't live and die with the homerun. Bunt, base hits...Steal second with these speed guys. Keep a speedster on your bench in case you get a guy like Yordan or Giancarlo stuck at first. Avoid those DP's at all costs.

It took me quite a few tries myself but I completed it. I tried to get guys with decent speed and high clutch hitting. The cards you will get rid of as you advance put them at the bottom of the lineup cause they’re the ones who usually start out on base and if they have speed, steal or replace them with someone with speed. Sometimes you gotta play small ball but it eventually pays off and you win it. Just be patient and don’t get pissed, that doesn’t help at all.

Good Call...put someone with High Speed in the 6 slot...That's who starts out on 1st against the 15 out down 2 mission. (Sonny Gray?, Paul Blackburn...Think I remember one other one?)

Choose Lefty hitters. Other than Chafin, most of the time you won't see another Lefty. The only other one possible is Willis and I had no issue hitting him with Lefty hitters.

I skipped Chafin then lit up Castillo.

I did not skip Chafin, but wished I had. Down to the final out on that one. Then lit up Castillo of course.
Skip Chafin, especially with a lefty heavy lineup.
