Been playing way too long to not know, but what does the green/red number next to the overall of a player indicate? Is it changing their actual overall to that green/red number?

Inside edge on live series. Based on real world matchups. Yes raises to that number in game. You can read the report on the inside edge tab while looking at the card.

Yeah exactly. And if you hit triangle to view the card ratings you'll see which categories are boosted (or decreased if red).

What about on FBs?
The one WBC reliever in the new BR Player Missions had a negative number the other day.
