Pirate WIN streak???
What type of batschitt reality is this lol
Let's get Dr. Strange on the line to flip things back to normal
-
Reminder: Bob Costas once wrote a book arguing the Twins should be contracted because they could never compete.
-
Haha Bobby C on the call!

The only one that really doesn't make sense is the Pirates, and to a lesser extent the Dbacks. The Rangers spent too much money to not be competitive eventually, The twins play in the AL Central. Arizona showed a lost of promise last year and I thought they could have pushed for a playoff spot anyway, they are in first because of the Padres and Dodgers not playing well though.

It's only April.

Exactly. A year ago the Twins and Angels were in first and how did they end the season.

Regardless, it is still pretty impressive. The Pirates and others are taking advantage of the new rules with their agressive run game. The Dodgers could not slow them down this past series. This year reminds me a bit of the 80's when super athletes like Rickey, Tim, and Vince took over games. I like the new rules and thrilled to not see seven defenders on the same side of the field for half the game!

The Twins may be in the AL Central, but have barely played any divisional opponents. So, by your logic, if you’re saying it’s a weak division, they should bowl over their division rivals and stay on top all year!

As a Pirates fan, I'm super excited and am enjoying this early season peak, but I'm jaded enough to know it's not going to last. Their SPs have been playing waaay over their heads and the offseason FA signings like Connor Joe are definitely not going to hit .300 forever.
That being said, a Finest Cutch or Keller would be neat

It is early in the year, but I feel like Minnesota can be a sleeper team any year. They're a tricky team to judge year in and year out. They seem to usually have a lineup of underrated gritty type players who battle hard each night. It's going to be an interesting season.

Nah man they are pesky this year, as a Cards fan I can say it's good to see them playing well.

You take that back! He will hit .300 forever!

Also remember: the Jays, who got in because the Expos lobbied for them, voted to contract the Expos. Ted Rogers can rot in hell forever, and another thousand years after that.
