Played Co-op for the first time last night...

Wow, what a fun and very chill game experience.
Even though we won both games, we gave zero fks and just enjoyed playing for the sake of playing.
This might become my preferred mode of play.
I like this.

It’s definitely the best mode- have no reason/desire to play solo ranked at all!

Yea my brother and I enjoy it. Stinks you can’t earn pxp to go towards your team affinity or rank up your players. Be cool to pick a team and set it up then go searching.

This game mode is really what videogames are supposed to be, fun with friends. I love it too

Been playing Co-op with my 18 year old son and both of us have really been enjoying it. I’ve noticed the past few weeks that he hasn’t really played any RS or anything else. Yesterday he said his PS+ ran out and he wasn’t going to renew it because Co-op is the only thing he enjoys this year. Needless to say I was pretty bummed. I guess it is time for my nine year old to become my partner.

I haven't tried yet this year, but loved it in '22. I played with randoms all the time, though.

I have been wanting to try this out. Unfortunately, I don't have any friends that play the show. I'm a 43 year old dad of 4 kids, and I've been playing mlb for a few years now. If any of you guys are looking for another to get some co-op games in, I'm definitely interested. I'm on PS5 and my ID is LarsonLandscapng

Its the best mode when it works, but has too many softlocks.

I try queuing up for a game, but no one ever joins. Do you have to have a friend to play this mode?

You have to hit the arrow on the right to search buddy.

They need to loop the rewards. Co-op definitely the most fun mode. I play with randoms. It’s fun watching other people flail around unless they can’t pitch.

It would be nice if there was a reward loop for co-op.... this sounds like a fun way to keep playing while waiting for new content.... for the past week, the only thing I have left to do is events, and I think I'm only 5w away there.... when playing co-op, are you mic'd up with your teammate?

Yes you can be mic’d up. I’ve talked to many randoms through my controller.

Ahh it never took me that long. Did it just now and paired twice with in 10 seconds.

If you play 2v2 you and your teammate bring in 3 hitters, 1 SP, 2 RP each. It gives you 4 gold hitters and whatever remaining pitcher slots to fill your team. Random pick from the 2 starting pitchers. Who is batting changes every AB. Who is pitching changed every inning. When you’re batting your teammate controls runners on base, you control the hitter if you get a hit. When you’re pitching your teammate controls the IF and OF you control the pitcher and catcher. One player designated at the beginning controls all subs and bullpen.
