I’d imagine we all have these moments in games and you know as soon is it happens that game is a loser. Probably mostly when playing ai. Let’s have a keep it light and fun conversation with a good laugh.

Playing mini seasons on HOF in extra innings man 2nd and 3rd 1 out hit two consecutive pop ups on well timed swings on pitches down the middle to end it.

Next inning get the 1st two batters out, third batter hits a pop up to infield my pitcher runs to first take over the 2nd baseman miles away and batter safe at first. Of course next pitch is walk off hr.

Can only laugh!!! But felt the game was a loser after the two pop ups half inning before

What’s your typical, “this is a loser” scenario?

Playing 2020 moments for the Babe Ruth program. I am not a good hitter, and I am down to moments that are 6 inning games at HOF level, and I usually lose at that level, but 2 times in a row I got a homer from Mantle in the first, only to serve up no doubt homers to Tony Gwynn in the bottom half of the inning. I instantly knew they were going to be losses and was unfortunately correct.

I don't remember the play by play but I'm sure I could've pulled the log... but yeah long story short I ran through Mini Seasons with a 24-4 record... I was playing like 6-8 games each gaming session and was like "Playoffs finna be a breeze", I win my Semifinals 3-1 but somehow things fell apart in the Finals, not sure if its because I switched my roster up or what because I was doing that every two games and still had my "team chemistry" for lack of a better word but in the Finals I just didn't have it... atleast I got my Egg... can't see myself going back to Classic for a bit but I feel like I need revenge so eventually I'm going to give it another go... I'm currently 3-0 in TA Mini Seasons and not looking to leave that season without the Championship.

Likely a Moments Boss last season I played, 2020, when I had 21 outs to come back from 2 run deficit. I did everything in my possible power to "wear out" the pitcher (believe it may have been Burnes but it's been awhile). I had all these diamond power-ups giving me better contact/power when losing. Burnes has thrown more pitches than I've ever had against me in a Moments. I probably fouled off 30-40 pitches during this fiasco.

I get 2 of the runs early with 15 outs left. Of course AI has already predetermined Player loses..so it's just an onslaught of "early/latet", double-plays, K's on balls that defy physics as they come in to strike-zone (fast-balls up in zone that even when I'm laying high it goes whiff).

I'm sure the developers do their best to prevent the obvious farces, but when you've got randomized counters set to enforce a player loss..it's going to look pretty obvious despite their best efforts.

anygame when guys with 100+ power keep hitting 98 MPH flyouts, when the CPU, or Human, keep hitting weak grounders right past the IF. I know that it is either about to lead to a few more similar hits and give up a few runs or the next batter is gonna hit a bomb.
