Where do u get these from? I see when u click on the card, and go to locations it's just a price. But where did these originally get dropped?

-Team Captains
From Team affinity programs
-Team Live Series Captain
From completing Live Series collections
-Various Captains like All-Star, Breakout, Captain Series etc
From a Digital Deluxe pre-order pack (Will probably be available down the line)
-Buck O'Neil
Complete all [removed] league storylines
Unless you really like using specific team based lineups, the best captains are generally accepted as the following- Buck O'Neil
- Trevor Hoffman
- Derek Jeter
Everyone else is either too niche or not filled out enough (Willie Mays is a key example)
-
Stan Musial and Andrés Gimenez are very good for me!!

these are also available on Season 1 XP Path (Cole, Harper, Aldrus and Pressley... I believe) and then they are in the Ranked Program (Gimenez, and I forget the pitchers name from Yankees that was lights out for a good part of last year)
Cole and Harper are All-Star, Aldrus? and Pressley are Veteran, Giminez and ??? are Breakout.

The Willie Mays captain build is pretty solid, but there's a huge buy-in. If you can get Eddie Mathews, Brooks Robinson, Hank from the LS reward, etc., that team will be killer.
-
The ones that are rare and more expensive were in the pre order pack only.
-
Tim Salmon and Shohei both equipped makes Trout insane ... but you need to rely on him and Salmon to both carry.
-
ON many teams, Captains are useless, sadly. The benefit of using one on my team is outweighed by the difference in the cards I could field...But primarily team captains are acquired by completing the LS collections and the TA programs
