Yeah, I had him since very early. As an Astro fan AL West was first I go after. Plus knocks out 3 of the big 90+. Pulling deGrom helped a lot there.

I’m kinda just slow rolling the collections. Don’t really feel rushed to get them done which is a positive. I don’t play as much as most but I’m years past always felt “rushed” to complete them. In previous years I’ve spent $ on stubs to do just that. Not doing it this year because it’s not necessary and I think it’s a positive change that sds made.

I’ve got about 200k stubs from selling pulls I’ve had and playing the game.. what’s the best approach to finishing all the collections? I’ve done the rough math and wouldn’t it take like a million stubs to finish all the collections?

I'm still a ways off yet. I'm not far behind my usual pace(Mid May), but the motivation for the LS collection just isn't there this year as much. My "collect every card" desire has gone away too(that is probably a good thing)

Ya I mean some of these diamonds are 100k stubs or more so I’m not sure how it’s even possible for me to collect all these cards without at least a million stubs. Just curious how people are able to do this. Definitely not about to purchase stubs just cause I’m against micro transactions. Not concerned if I can’t complete these just curious how people do it

You get tons of packs from programs and the like, you can always sell off any duplicates or cards you don't like to maximize stubs. You should also always put in buy orders rather than buy now to save even more

yeah I have all but 4 teams done and I doubt Ill ever get those 4 done unless I pull the cards?
Still Need NYY, Angels NYM & Cardinals (which all contain some of the highest priced cards)
I got lucky and Pulled DeGrom and Betts so was able to finish their teams. -

Done before May this year. Gets faster every year. Yes, tooting my own horn, but only 2 cards are really worth it to me, and you can argue plenty are already better than Jeter. So maybe only Sosa is worth it.
Flipping or good pulls?
I pulled deGrom and Scherzer. Max when he was 90k. Sold him back then to complete AL West. Bought him back today to complete the Mets for 26k lol. Also Goldy and sold him towards AL West. Did some flipping. Equipment. Probably netted about 200-300k all together flipping. As I only did it in between games. Kept selling off the Season 1 bosses as I got them. Still collected enough cards to get Chipper last night though.
I packed DeGrom early and sold him to complete the lower level teams. Then I packed Verlander and considered selling him but decided to keep him. Shortly after that I pulled Diaz and bought Scherzer the day before he got suspended/dropped in ranking for 80K to do ish the Mets. If I would've waited 24 hours I could've go him for 30K.

Oh ya at first when I was racking stubs I bought lindor, moncada, the Japanese 3rd baseman, gunner Henderson but I recently started doing the programs and was getting usable 97 overalls so I sold all those cards. Like that Cruze O’Neil 95 I got for free is a baller. Figured why spend stubs on slightly better 99s when I can get all these free 97+ cards and still compete. I’m just trying to figure out how to get some good free pitching to tame down these stacked teams online. I’m working towards that free Dustin may I think he’d be a nice free beast.

That’s what I’m thinking. It’s gotta be like a million stubs to complete all of them and don’t see myself reaching that point anytime soon. Although it’s looking like I can at least obtain chipper jones and that’s the only card I’d like. That one and 99 Mike trout and 99 otahni and 99 trae turner but after that I don’t think I’ll go any further at this point because it’s too much I feel like -

I pulled Trout and Verlander yesterday which helped tremondously with collections. I still need Ohtani, Judge, Betts, Goldschmidt, and Arenado to finish collections. Not in any rush and this year I am not flipping cards at all. Always end up with crazy amount of stubs at the end of the year and not worth it anymore.

If they do the same next year I will not be in on the LS collection and will keep those 2M stubs for every other high OVR card.
I can't hit with Sosa or McGwire so I had to replace them anyway

I finished it all a few days ago, which is like 3 months sooner than I’ve ever done. Some keys for me:
- Buy the fancy edition of the game and immediately start grinding the maps, showdowns, all that
- Make sure every player you’re using has program goals/missions attached to them when doing maps/mini seasons
- Sell everything I can the first week of the game when prices are inflated. Jerseys, players, equipment, everything
- Smartly do any collection that’s worth it
- This year, once the app got fixed, I’ve been flipping a few Gibson/Ricky cards here and there because those ones are super easy, but I don’t have the patience to flip all that much
I did get some solid luck. Think I pulled 2 Mookies, Scherzer, and Ohtani. But I’ve earned a lot of packs.

Congrats dude. I’m getting closer. 8 cards away. Although they are 8 biggies- Trout, Degrom, Judge, Verlander, Diaz, Mookie, Goldy and Arenado. But I’ve got like 345K stubs and will flip to try and get the collection done by the next roster update.

I'm beyond far. Only 90+ I have are Verlander and Diaz. I need the Yankees, Rays, White Sox, Guardians, Astros, Angels, DeGrom for the Rangers, Braves, Braves, Marlins, Phillies, Brewers, Cards, and Dodgers.
I can't find anything to flip and I'm close to getting Charisma Griffey and debating on selling him, if he's still around 150K, to get some of the above done.
But unless I get HUGE pulls from any packs I earn; I probably won't finish it until Oct/Nov.
