Fielders froze

I was playing an event game, had a ball get by my catcher. The ball hits the back stop and bounces towards my pitcher. Neither my catcher nor my pitcher could move. My opponent scores from 2nd and I lose, anyone experience this?

It's a glitch that's been in the game for years. Doesn't happen often but when it does. I have had some I throw to the catcher for play at the plate and he freezes. After run scores he swipes.
