Defensive diamond badges

I noticed some of my defensive CF badges shows on my card.But when i put them on CF instead of badges it shows gold.Why is that?

Because they have Gold fielding. The card shows their overall defense. Fielding, arm, arm accuracy and reaction combined. Badge is just fielding.
