Opponent quits but I get the loss?

Played a cheeser who would pause every time he thought I was getting him figured out. Tie game in 3rd or 4th inning, I have runner on first and he throws a wild pitch. Game glitches out where nothing is moving just as the ball got to backstop and I was advancing the runner.
Got the "lost connection with opponent" screen, then when the game summary comes up I got the loss despite him disconnecting. WTF?

I was just winning 6-0 in 7th and got the same pop up. I was handed a loss too. Anything we can do about it??

Not really. You can report it, but I had a freeze off that cost me a chance to make huge gains for a program and nothing ever came of it.
