Game reward

Why do we get a game reward for playing vs cpu but not from any other game mode?

Because they give us enough free stuff for just playing the game. Lets not get greedy here.

Just a reward for playing a game, I guess. If you're lucky enough, sometimes you will get a diamond out of it (better chances to get one on HOF and Legend).

Because every game mode is rewarding in its own way. We get stubs, xp and hidden packs throughout Conquest. Online modes have program that give us stubs, packs, xp or random cards. No one is really playing 9 inning games against the CPU unless they're getting something for it.

No one is grinding 9 inning games but say you're done with all the conquests and most of the TA stuff....you need 1600pxp with the Giants to finish the NL West, you can get that in 1 nine inning game....and you get a free card.

Thats what I use it for any grind of TA when I dont have any maps available and easier just to play 9 innings
Same. I needed like 600 pxp for the Giants and the Marlins to finish both divisions so i stacked my team with players from both, pitched half the game with Alcantra and the other half with MadBum

I think you got a little excited and meant to say for "buying" the game.
Nothing is free. You paid for the game.
If your friend said "Hey they are giving away free ketchup,napkins and plastic silverware when you buy a burger at McDonalds!!"
Would you kindly explain to him how it works?

This may be the stupidest thing i've read in these forums.
I paid for the game once....i dont pay for it every time i turn on the PS5. And if i go to McDonalds, i can grab a handful of ketchup packets, napkins and plastic utensils just for buying a cheeseburger...but i dont have to go back and pay them every time i use one of them.
I have 2 years worth of Dunkin Donuts straws and napkins in my house and my glove compartment. Considering i dont actually need or use napkins to drink an iced coffee, i'd say thats free Kleenex for life. Because its something i didnt pay for when they charged me 2.75 for the coffee. Just like i'm not paying for the packs and stubs SDS gives us for PLAYING the game.

Sir you BOUGHT the game. If you have any question comments or concerns please call corporate. It is also impossible to receive free packs if you dont pay to play the game.
Also in future try to go easy on the napkins. If you don't need that many just let them know.
