Cooldown Penalty

Can we get rid of this? I'm currently enduring a cooldown penalty after I had to quit in a freeze off up 7-0. I wasn't sitting there all night and now I'm being penalized.

Just kidding.
They need to get rid of the Cool Down Penalty period.
Of course, that being said, I give no remorse to people that still play Co-Op knowing that unless you possibly want to sit in a freeze off; you're going to incur a penalty for dashboarding.

Me and my buddy have been playing co-op since the game dropped because it's just fun. We had 0 freeze offs until today after this latest patch. Now we've had 2 in a row.

I thought they were real short? They said they made it short for people who don't do it often but more targeted at habitual quiters.

My first one was 8 minutes. So I'm not sure what the progression is.
