This might have been mentioned before but I love the fact they added some iconic negro league players but then kind of made them limited in usefulness in offline play. You cannot use them in grinding team affinity and I think it would be cool it be able too . Now I understand like half never made it to MLB but just assign them to a MLB closest to where they played in that league.

4 players and I looked it up had some MLB time so those players should be assigned to a team.

    Paige -- Indians
    Jackie -- Dodgers
    Rube -- Red Sox
Hank T -- Orioles ( Browns at time before they became Orioles )

I am curious what others think and if this is a good idea and a fair one

Nah, I love that they have they’re own chapter in the game. Their story is better told that way

It gives you a feel of what they went through as players, I do hope they their own program at some point.

it's possible we could get Diamond Dynasty cards for these players. I haven't played through Storylines but from what I can tell I think the 90 ovr card is their highest card available. I'd imagine Jackie will get a 99 at some point for Dodgers like he has in previous games and I can't see them not releasing DD cards for the NLB players that have been able to play in MLB.

The story line cards are their own card series placing them on the KC Monarchs as such the do not have an MLB and are free agents.

My point in it was this is a cool new series and your kind of limiting how they can be used in the game is my point. I mean with all the grinding for TA and such outside of online play and such only other place to use them is classic Mini seasons ( if that does not bug the BEEP out )

Don't disagree with you. They really have limited these NL players use in offline grinding for sure. Would have loved to have used them all in my TA Mini Seasons grinding.

Oh, and P.S. The Rube Foster you are referring too that played for the Red Sox was not the same Rube Foster from the NL. The Red Sox Rube played from 1913-17, 30 years prior the Jackie breaking the color barrier. : )

Being on the Sanford Greene's is how they are boosted by Buck O'Neil. Putting Paige on the Guardians would just take him out of that

I believe somewhere it said “Season 1” storylines when you play them. I’m sure they will upgrade and eventually be on the teams they played for they just hadn’t at that part of their career. 95-99 Satchel Paige card might be to much with that Bee, Creep, Dodge 2 hump combo lmao
