Can someone explain the great divide in Conquests?

    I've been playing Conquests for years. Spent 100's of hours more time in Conquests than any other single-mode in the last decade. Completely understand how it is supposed to work.

    But, why does "Nation of Baseball" play like some out-of-control AI script that is about as stingy with player wins as anything I've ever seen in the game. Is this supposed to be the "Super Challenging" Conquest and I just can't find any documentation that states that?

    I can play any other Conquest and finish a map in a couple hours. The really big ones maybe 4 hours. Pretty much a cake-walk and simple matter of patience and grinding.

    Maybe it's because I have destroyed most of the other Conquest Maps and the AI triggered kick-player's-[censored] code in "nation of baseball". I dunno, just asking.

    Never mind, unless someone has something to the contrary I'm guessing because I completed this map once (fairly easily now that i recall) the AI just amped up the challenge exponentially. Maybe I've read that before, but can someone confirm whether the maps are juiced up after you beat them once?

    Same across the board really, the CPU just decides it wants to win and does so.

    Conquest USA requires taking over 384 spaces, most of which are occupied after the first 50 or so.
    Next biggest board, WBC, only has 100.

    I’ve seen people complaining about this years US map, but I don’t get it. I see no difference this year other than slower moving between hex’s and clicking into sims. Little lag annoyed me. Beat it in 25 turns, same as always, give or take 1-2.

    Yep..pretty much the case at every level and always has been. It's just, sometimes, it feel like there is some consistency in the modes. But that changes like the weather.

    Hall of Fame I've beaten every time another team attacks my stronghold. Which it's only happened, ever, when I've played this map I'm talking about. In the same map, though, if I try to "steal" from another team I'll lose about half the time on Veteran. There is no rhyme or reason to difficulties..which is pretty annoying.
