Mini Seasons stat tracking
-
Mini seasons is all kinds of bugged. I play games , win and get dealt losses , I pitch with my number 1 starter and my number 5 loses stamina. Played a team 4 straight times yesterday and they brought in 99 Wagner in all 4 games , yet I can’t get my relievers do even go back to back. Mini seasons is a mess

Yeah, nobody understands why they are so set and picking other players rosters/ I’ve never heard anyone say that’s a feature that matters to them and I know it was the cause of a lot of bugs last year.
I love this game but I will never understand releasing a game before it’s working properly. I can’t imagine having to tell my favorite band “can you go back in the studio to fix this album? It’s full of flat notes, forgotten lyrics and sometimes tracks 5 and 7 freeze in the middle.”

Yeah mini season stat tracking def doesn't work. When I first got Rafael Devers Charisma card, the very first time I used him in my lineup for anything whatsoever, his first time to the plate was in mini seasons it said he was hitting .328 with 6 homeruns. He had two at bats that game and then a couple minutes later in his second mini season game he comes to the plate and it now says he's hitting .475 with 3 homeruns. When actually my real mini season and just overall in general stats for him was 1-2 with a single. However when I backed out of mini season and went to my inventory, I checked his stats for offline vs cpu and it showed the correct stats so it's just a mini seasons issue, not overall stat tracking.

Do the stats you accrue in MS translate to general offline v. CPU? Or are they separate? Thanks.

Get used to it they wont fix it

So I noticed that if the CPU in mini seasons has the same card in their lineup, the stat lines default to whoever’s card comes up to bat first.
Trout for example hits #2 for me in mini seasons and is in the 3 spot for one of the CPU teams. His stats show up as mine for the CPU team when I’m the away team and it shows up as the CPU stats when I’m the home team.

I mean they fixed it last year. It just took a hot minute. I’m sure they’ll get it working. I know some people believe SDS is some sinister crime syndicate laughing in their tower for taking our money…. I do wish they would just say- “Hey all, Mini Seasons was released a little early… play at your own risk.” But I have no doubt they are working to fix it.

Yeah they still accrue to general offline properly. Let's say you have a new card you haven't used and the first time you use him is in mini seasons and he hits 3 homeruns. Odds are your stats that show up when he comes to bat in mini seasons are going to be wrong, but once you are out of the game and go to your inventory and look at the stats for that one card, his offline stats will show those 3 homeruns.

Not sure if this is what you mean but i know they dont continue tracking stats once you restart, it'll just set everyone to 0's. Basically, it only saves stats for the current season you're in. I guess kinda to give it more of a "real league" feel.

I’ve noticed Mini seasons doesn’t track stats on many of the players. Is this a known bug? I realize it’s a small thing but it’s a feature they advertised.
It tracks stats... you will only see the Mini Seasons stats from any games that you used the card in Mini Seasons while in gameplay though (for that current season only if I recall)... once you leave the game and go look at the card(s) stats it'll have the Mini Seasons stats included but when you go look at the boxscore it will only have the Mini Seasons stats

The first time you use the card it will show the current stats you have with the card, after you use the card in Mini Seasons it will show the Mini Seasons stats. When you go look at the card in your inventory and look at the stats the Mini Seasons stats will be included in his overall stats.

stat tracking is definitely not working. After 4 games played it said the league leader in strike outs Had 79. Even if the pitcher pitched 4 complete games (not getting a day off) he would have 36 strikeouts.

That's because the CPU is not losing stamina therefore they only pitch their aces

Yup, only time the ace doesn't pitch is against you IF you pick any pitcher other than your ace to pitch... and even then these squads are stacked for the most part so chances are if the pitcher isn't the ace you won't even notice that it's not... that's why I always take a look at that teams rotation and lineup before even entering the game just so I know what I'm getting myself into.

Oh interesting. I wondered why new guys to my MS squad had stats but that makes sense. Learn something new every day. Thanks dude now please stop with the infield singles against the Pads haha. That was wild.
