Should I sell the cards I get to complete live series collections ?

This year it looks like the best collector cards are in the massive set 1 - - i have like 80ish of them already and haven’t completed any live series sets …..unless you have a [censored] for mark mcgwire or a particular card in the live series i would focus on whatever sets you can do for free….WBC and team affinity will eventually get you chipper jones, el pedro, and babe ruth,…for 0 stubs

True, but….
Those are set 1 cards (Babe, Pedro and Chipper) which means you won’t be able to play all three come season 3. You’ll be able to use one as a wild card. McGuire, Sosa and Jeter can be used all year

I'm going with the colletor cards. I now have 80 as well, can't wait to try out the Jazz Chizholm card. I have 10 LS cards to go but they are all the big stubs players so i'm just collecting them naturally for now. Pulled Ohtani the other day so i got to cross him off.

True, but….

I still don’t see the point in paying lots of stubs for core set cards - - - once set 1 phases out there will be just as good of cards in set 2….also for free. Again, you are talking about zero stubs vs hundreds of thousands - - - theres no way sosa, mcgwire and jeter are that much better and its still 2 whole months before set 1 dies….if you play all the set 1 programs the chipper, ruth and pedro will easily be yours….for free.
If it cost lots of stubs to do set 1 then you would be right but free is free bro - - theres just no math to support pursuing live series with hard earned stubs. You can easily replace jeter, mcgwire and sosa with cheaper cards - - sosa vs babe ruth? Gimme the babe…..for free all day every day and twice in the morning on sunday
Besides, i have like half the live series done just from opening my free packs - - i spend zero real dollars and zero stubs on packs - - unless you just like collecting all the cards for its own sake its clearly more cost effective to just buy the cards you want off the market

So I finished the live series last weekend. I don’t buy packs. Just play the game. Spent no stubs have chipper and 7 from Pedro. It’s a grind. But it’s definitely doable more this year than years pasts because the market is down with all the 99s
