Who are the best/ easiest captain boosts to acquire?

I find out on accident I could easily achieve the Nolan Ryan captain boost. Which states any pitcher over the age of 35 would be boosted. I already had 6 pitchers over the age so of course I activated it. It gives +5 for hits and +10 for K”s.
So that lead me to wonder what are the best boosts that can be accomplished? And what are the more easier ones to obtain?

One of the best/easiest ones to get is the Buck O'Neil one for the Negro League Legends. They are already good cards and become even better with his boost to both pitching and hitting.

Not Harper. I had enough allstar cards for tier 1. I inserted them and saw they get a +5 to power and contact. Cool! I then looked for the third “perk” and it was -5 fielding. I was already playing Harper in left, so yeah I quickly subbed a few out to elimanate making Harper a worse outfielder.

Yeah I seen him but I haven’t even touched that program might have to look at it again thoigh

Hoffman is a good one for me if you have guys like Taylor Rogers, Dibble, and other guys who are RP, not CP. I think the tier 3 boost is +15 to H/P, K/P and walks maybe? I'll have to check later but it is a really good, easy boost.

Hoffman, for sure. Very easy. Makes 83-84 relievers at tier 3 around 90*

Buck O'neil hands down. Gives you 3 99 OVR SP, one 98 OVR SP, a 99 OVR 1b, a boosted Jackie, and the best catcher in the game at 99 OVR. They are also core players, so when a new season starts, you can use them until you unlock new cards in set 3 you want to use.
Additionally, the majority of those SP are two way players, so you can use them wherever you'd like if you don't need pitching.

Harper is one of the better ones, Story,Hunter,Bryant,and Taylor.
All righties that hit lefties and thx to Harper hit righties too, 4 AS on the bench and the parallel and you got the tier 3 boost.
all from ta and easy to get, minoso and Turner also if you didn't like any of those 4.
