Today's daily mission was "exchange relievers" and I can't understand why certain players are lit up and others aren't...this year seems different.

Last year, the exchange screen showed you every qualifying player in your inventory, regardless of whether you had 1 or duplicates.

This year, I don't understand. Some players are highlighted but I don't have duplicates. Other times, it seems only players I have duplicates of are highlighted. I have no idea sometimes if exchanging a highlighted player will be getting rid of the only one I have in inventory.

Please help me understand what changed this year. Thanks!

Here’s the best way to look at it. If you don’t have the card locked in and it’s lit up, that’s the only one you have. If you do have the card locked in and a single card is lit up, that’s a duplicate. If the card is not lit up, you either don’t have it or you only have one and it’s locked in, therefore not exchangeable.

Use that baseline to figure out your duplicate situation. Whether the card is locked in or not is the key.

Sorry, to answer the last part of your question, the change this year is you cannot exchange or quick sell any card locked into your collection. Hope this helps.
