youre team name was floppy weiners? no he tried to friendly quit after i tied the game up in the first inning. took lead in 2nd and connection lost lol
Nah it wasn't me but I've been up or tied every game and I get kicked the game is unplayable and I'm done with it
-
I’ve had connection lost to the show 3 times today
-
i havent had any issues in that regard this week. But when a d/c comes after a hit that scores a run or a hr...i dont think its the game. Usually thats completely randomn or freezes
-
I haven't played any ranked 1v1 yet, but from playing co-op I know I'm not good enough to score more than 3 or 4 runs in a game at the most. I'm assuming that people quitting feel like they are making quality pitches and still getting hit, and know they have zero chance to come back so they just bail instead of wasting their time.
With all the inning requirements though, I don't see a point in quitting a game that early. I figure play out at least half of it, see if you can get lucky, and if not then quit when it gets out of hand.

Maybe you played against me idk but I don't quit I get kicked I think a lot of people are having the problem the game is utterly broken Its not a connection issue on my end its an sds issue cause I have ether net and I've been kicked from every game I played before the third inning idk why.
The game isn’t broken bc mine works perfectly fine(connection wise)
And I watch a ton of streamers and they’ve never had connection issues either
You may want to figure out your internet issue before going in every thread say the game is broken

Knock on wood.........everything has worked flawlessly for me thus far.

After thinking about the idea of associating penalties with quitting, I have landed on the side of No. There should not be any penalties at all for leaving a game early. Saying that, I am someone who plays mostly 3 inning (BR and Event) games, and stick around even though I am down 9+ runs, but who cares if someone leaves a game early? You get the win. You get the points. What else do you want? To tee off on them for 9 innings and build up your stats?
Now the only exception to this idea is if they dashboarded. I do think there is a difference between quitting out (AKA confirming a quit through the menu) and ripping the cord from the wall and turning off the game. BUT even in that scenario, every accident, event power outage, every ISP disconnect will fall under that category and they all get penalized just a harshly as the dude that woke up his neighbor screaming in rage before dashboarding.
It is a tough and difficult idea, but I think the fact that you win and get the points and they lose and lose points should as far as it goes. -

I have ether net shouldn't be having problems and I went into 2 threads saying I was having problems Whats wrong with that. I paid for the game

I don't mind people quitting. If i or you are getting hammered, no rrason to finish for sake of finishing. What I mind is something that happens to me regularly. You quit in the middle of my homerun or bases clearing hit, eliminating the xp for that. So annoying. I'll quit a game, buy I never rage quit. I let you get your stats and just quit.
This happened to me in 22. I was down 2 in bottom of ninth, two on, can't remember # outs. I smash what looks to be a nk doubters. In the middle of ball flight I get the lost connect message. I knew he rage quit. Problem was game was completely nullified and I got an error message. I was furious

I've been lucky so far this year. I've only had one person quit on me. I dove into RS early this year due to the "missions" they added, which will make it much quicker to get to the rewards. I think I've played 82 innings and I'm already at 83 points. Win/Win.

I think the solution is: dashboard=timeout from ranked
Forfeit from pause menu=no penalty
