Showdown difficulty

In years past, if you did all the levels up to the final boss you'd get to even runs, which would even allow you to skip some bosses. This year there are more henchman giving fewer runs toward the final, and there ends up being at least a 4-run gap at the end even if you do all levels.
The one thing I've never heard on the forums is "make showdowns harder," yet that seems to be what has been done for TA and WBC showdowns already. Please solicit feedback on this, because I know I'm not the only one frustrated at the increased difficulty.
-
Well theres no arguing its harder with needing more runs on final boss. I was kinda surprised as well you still needed 5 runs to win
-
Not only less runs toward the final boss, but I'm seeing the TA pitchers are dotting the edges and even perfect/perfect is going for outs more often than not. I know I need to get back into rhythm before I can complain about difficulty, because I hadn't touched The Show in 6 months. It seems harder than last year so far to me.
-
I thought it was a bit silly to go through all the levels and need 1 run against the last boss. It certainly made it easier the old way, but having it this way probably makes more sense.
-
While I beat the WBC showdown first try, I did notice the pci seemed way s,Allen then it should have been for veteran difficulty.
I swear a few showdowns last year also had it where you began down 3-4 even if you beat all the bosses prior.
For this one, don’t swing until 2nstrikes vs Camillo and he will be red very quickly.

I have only played starter program showdown and failed first mission and had success on all the other missions... going into the Final Showdown it was 10-9 CPU lead, had I won the first showdown it would've been 10-10... I haven't tried the other showdowns yet but I imagine if you don't win the blue showdowns that's why you are missing runs.

WBC and I think TA don't have blue showdowns, it's all bosses.

Somehow I made it through the WBC showdown on my first try, but I am filled with anxiety every time I play showdown, especially when it is all bosses. I try to avoid showdown when I can.
-
If you can’t gets 4 runs with 20 outs, I’m not sure what to tell you. That’s over 2 full games. On veteran difficulty.

9x3=27 27x2=54

This exactly. If you looked at the size of the inner PCI during feedback you could easily tell it was not on Veteran. The pitch speeds may have been Veteran but the PCI was the size of HOF. I did beat it but it certainly took me a few times.

It's actually 5 runs, but my point was also that instead of like 4 steps to get to boss it's now 6-8, which makes lots more opportunity for failure than in years past.

Math definitely checks out -

Showdown is wayyy easier than the first year they had them in TS20. TS21 was the easiest but this year seems like a decent balance so far
