Is SDS Just ignoring the IOS Update

Is me playing Road To The Show too much to ask SDS and Apple?
-
Maybe it's a diplomacy issue, maybe SDS doesn't want to [censored] off apple by coming out and saying it's on them

Apple don’t make the app. Developers do.
This is on Sony. This is true, but, Apple goes through each line of code (or a bot does) to make sure it’s clean. It takes forever to get an iOS app approved and released.
You can ask any app developer and they will tell you the same.

Do I believe that they are ignoring it? Nope, not at all.
I am just guessing that it is not an easy fix or that there are some issues with apple.

Nah I’m sure that they’re trying to solve whatever the problem is and trying to push the app through, but it’s been days since the last dev posted on here and the game officially launched today. They aren’t ignoring the problems but they are ignoring updating the fan base about a heavily promoted feature of the game

They replied on another thread about difficulties with the face scan in IOS, and that they are working on it.
-
With everyone asking ‘when is the update’ or ‘I’d like to have an update on the issue’ etc, it will eventually (if it hasn’t already) [censored] the devs off and they will take their sweet time getting it working to spite the comments. Just be patient. It’ll come. Devs have personal lives too

Just being an iPhone user and knowing how strict Apple is with privacy, any time you bring in photo access to an app, I'm sure whatever review processes are get more strict. I would not be surprised if they had to separate 23 into its own app. Hopefully not but that would explain the delay.
I've not tried to build an app, but I've read online and had some people I know that do build apps tell me that the review process can be as little as 24 hours or as long as 2 weeks or more.
If I had to guess though, it's more likely that the face scan feature isn't working properly and they want to fix that, as some android users said they have the updated app but can't use face scan. I'm sure they'd be working to fix that and then send the updates to both andriod and iOS users.

Same way they ignore any questions about online franchise or online rated changes

I definitely agree that it’s really annoying how it’s been radio silence when there’s so many people asking about it.
As annoying as it is, I’m like 99% sure it’s Apple that is holding things up. Unfortunately that’s out of SDS’s control and it likely is due to Apple’s “App Review” process. I’m a developer and have encountered stuff getting hung up for a week randomly, pretty much for no reason at all. It’s usually like a 24-48 hr process, but it can take longer when aspects such as “account verification logins” are involved (such as logging in through XBOX, PlayStation, Switch).
It could have been easily mitigated by submitting it at least a week in advance. It’s not like they didn’t know it was coming. Given how many people pre-ordered with expectations of their app being functional on their Apple products, it’s a really big screw up on SDS’s side.

Refund Please! In case anyone hasn’t noticed, RTTS players have not been supported since MLB 21. Last year just a few last NAMES. Last names in the game are far more immersive than a face scan. It is clear where SDS is putting their effort in the game. Need to change the name of the game to “online Baseball card trading collection game”

they already stated that they had to rerecord names to build the library back up.
