Try starting with your PCI at the bottom of the zone and move up and/or try the new bat PCI. I was having even more issues than normal with my PCI this year, but the bat PCI has done wonders with lining up the PCI and laying off pitches out of the zone.

Change the view. I was struggling with this too until I changed from SZ to SZ high. Also turn the pitch speeds all the way down and select the lower zones in custom practice. This taught me to sit back and take pitches and also crush hanging breaking [censored]. Low breakers seem to be the meta this year.

Yeah, a big pci is distracting. Still trying to get familiar with the bat. Great addition to 23! Loving the game so far!

Agreed! I also use SZ high.

Personally, I have tried changing the view, the zoom makes everything seem to be in the zone and I actually hit even worse that way. I feel like I am getting marginally better lately, but there are some games where I just can't pick up the ball in time and look really bad.
