RTTS 23 - Fielding Options???

Can you not change your fielding options/controls in Road To The Show? I had my setting where I want them, and fired up a RTTS game, made a pretty sweet diving play... and then...apparently the throwing style just defaulted to something else, and I couldn't even get the ball thrown. Made my guy look like a doofus.
Haven't been able to figure out how to change it to my preference yet.
Not a fan of this.

In the settings, go to control, then player lock, you can change your player lock preferences there

Need a step by step cuz I'm not seeing how u change player lock options anywhere.

Yes u can, its in the general settings in the MISC, after rules, and before difficulty they must of moved it or something.

Bro u make no sense. Where do u c MISC? I don't c that option in a single setting or anywhere in the game. It goes from General -> Difficulty there's no in-between whether in RTTS or out of

I'm missing it too. I think I did see something in there that said throwing options were already set to buttons. It's not though. Seems odd to have me pick out a preference if it's just gonna set it to whatever it wants to anyway.

I have the same problem.. it’s already set to buttons which is locked for some reason now. But when I go to throw he just holds it
